Hello everyone, I'm just sitting around at the Grandparents place back in Colorado not doing anything on this Christmas Eve.

Michele, Ben and I drove out here through Arizona and New Mexico. I helped as much as I could but mostly I just slept. Here's proof that I helped...

The other day we went to a Christmas party and after everyone left the kitchen I cleaned the floor. I don't think anyone noticed

well Merry Christmas.

Turkey Belly

Not much happening except:

*Ben and Michele went to LA last weekend and left me at a dog hotel. but it was cool, I made some friends and got alot of play time.

*Thanksgiving came and went. Michele cooked her first turkey. I fell asleep sniffing, wishing, hoping, then sure enough she put some turkey juice into my dinner! which is a big step for michele. then I fell right back asleep again with a full belly

The next day they got me off my butt and we went for a walk-the-turkey-off  walk. Check out this beauty I picked up...
Here's me looking at the Pacific Ocean...
then I found some flowers...

so now we're just getting ready for Ben to be gone for a bit. which probably means I wont be blogging as much, Michele doesn't help me with my spelling like Ben does, but we'll see maybe she'll come around.

until then,
Chloe

DOG+DOG+DOG+BALL+GRASS=FUN

So, the other day I passed my new friend and neighbor, Beau, in the yard and we decided to play a little.

He's young so he's got tuns of energy and is pretty aggressive, but if I use my rollover technique and I get by just fine.
He's a nibbler, but as you can see I'm smiling. Getting nibbled on by a puppy is better than sitting on the couch watching "Flip That House" reruns with Ben. So I'm not complaining.
Things got a lot more interesting when another neighbor dog named Cleo came out and joined in. She's a bit older, so when I say "joined in" I really mean occasional played with us, but mostly just walked circles around Beau and I silently judging, like an old wise woman watching two teenagers play xbox. (I wish I had opposable thumbs)

But I quickly got tired of playing with them so I took Cleo's tennis ball (don't tell her) and went over to the other side of the yard while Beau tried to loosen the old lady up a little.

ps. happy fall.

The Good 'ol Days.

So, I was looking through some old photos from way back in September, and I realized I forgot to tell you about something...

One time when Ben took Amy Grant and I out to take care of business, Amy Grant got into a skunk's business, so it sprayed her. Ben got scared and took us back inside. Once Dave and Emily got home from their dinner date they washed off the smell as much as they could.
As you can see here, David doesn't look very into it...

...So Emily did all the work.

Meanwhile, I slept... or at least tried. geeez.

Next thing you know, we're causing a ruckus as usual. (notice the drool on the floor, Its not mine. That's all I'm gonna say about that)

The moral of the story:
DONT GET ALL UP IN A SKUNK'S BUSINESS WHEN YOU'RE TAKING CARE OF YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Feeling Comfy

Its starting to feel good here. I'm not as stressed/ depressed as I was the last couple weeks. All these changes were getting me down. but now I'm back to normal activities, like:

Destroying chew toys (thanks to the King family for donating this one)

Sniffing some back sides

Taking Ben and Michele on walks.

Glaring at people (mainly Ben (not so much Michele))

Going for car rides (listening to NPR)

So all and all thing are looking up. Oh and I met a neighbor dog named Beau. He's a puppy Giant Schnauzer. More on him later....maybe.

Home.

A couple days ago Ben took me for a walk in the Presidio. The weather was perfect for a bully like me, and the sights weren't bad either.

He took me to see the Golden Gate Bridge, personally I was more interested in those bushes than a big bridge. It looks grey to me.

We moved into our new place this last week. Its pretty nice for not having a deck. Theres some great grass on the side of the building that we visit probably 4 or 5 times a day, if you know what I mean.

We didn't have a couch when we first moved, I was afraid I was gonna have to nap on the hard wood floor. but alas a couch came, so we had the Greco's over to break it in and watch The Corpse Bride.

There's a great sun spot in the hallway everyday at about 4:30pm that I look forward to.

Nosey beach dogs.

This week Ben's friend David serenaded me with an afternoon nap song...
We were interrupted by a gang of unicyclists riding by on the sidewalk outside. Thats right unicyclists, they were loud and rude, but all I could do was bark out the window. So bark i did...
Ben took me to the beach again and we met a really nosey dog who wouldn't leave us alone...
I had to rest on our way back from the beach...

Same old same old

Another couple days, more of the same:

Played with Amy Grant.
Played with David.
Went to the beach, pooped on some sea weed.
Did some sunbathing.
Found a red ball.

The Ocean

I'm still in San Francisco. I told you I met a dog named Amy Grant, well she's become quiet a good friend. She's nice, she's outgoing, but she's really athletic, I don't hold it against her. Ben and Michele took us both to the park. Its a lot different than the parks in Wheat Ridge.

I also went to the beach for the first time. Very nice, but also annoying. I can't sniff a darn thing without getting sand in my nasal passages. Michele didn't bring her jacket. She didn't say she was cold, but i could tell she was.

One foggy afternoon recently Lucius' Dad and Ben took me to a coffee shop. I didn't want any coffee so I waited outside and watched the train.

That evening I got into Amy Grant's food bag and had myself some dessert.

Today Ben and Michele found out they got the apartment they wanted in the Presidio here in San Francisco. So it looks like we'll be here for a while.

Far Away

This week a lot changed for me. First of all I haven't seen Michele for a long time, she probably went to get me something to chew on. Second of all, our place smells funny and the coffee table i crawl under is gone, come to think of it, everything is gone.

On sunday we went to Ben's old house. His mom, dad, sister and another girl live there. They are all very nice to me and there's a yard, except they don't let me on the couch but I understand. They are nice couches.

Then on Thursday we got in a car with Lucius' dad and drove to San Francisco. It took us 21 hours and i got really bored.

One time Ben was eating beef jerky and didn't give me any. They let me out in Utah and I sniffed a dead bird and got really hot.

So Now we're in San Francisco and i met a really tall dog named Amy Grant. I'll tell you more about her later, but right now I'm either gonna sleep on the floor or bark at a noise outside, I haven't decided yet.
